Volunteer Work Day at Parramore Community Garden

Community Outreach Opportunity!
We will be refurbishing the Parramore Community Garden and are looking for volunteers to help!
This amazing volunteer-run garden is in an area characterized by high rates of poverty and unemployment and it provides fresh organic vegetables to the community free of charge.
Activities will include spreading mulch, topsoil, laying concrete edging stones, helping assemble a new greenhouse and shed, and in general anything else they need help with. No special skills are required but it would be helpful if you were able to bend, work with your hands, and lift up to 25 pounds.
