***This class fulfills the 14 hours of continuing education required for license renewal. Registrants must attend all five classes on both days to receive the full 14 hours of CE. Preparing a Listing Contract (4 CE) - 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

Listing contracts are most certainly an important part of Realtors®' day-to-day activities. This course is perfect for outlining the various types of listing agreements and the duties of each, identifying the protected classes under the Fair Housing Act, and understanding details about fees. Relators will also learn how best to answer sellers' questions about their proceeds and expenses.

Code of Ethics (3 CE) - 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Be the Change: Fair Housing and You (English) (2 CE) - 8:00 am - 10:00 am

In 2019, a landmark Newsday investigation exposed widespread housing discrimination by real estate agents on Long Island — highlighting the urgent need for Fair Housing education across the industry. This course provides real estate professionals with a thorough understanding of Fair Housing laws, Florida's state- and county-level protections, and the seven federally protected classes. Students will learn to recognize illegal practices like steering and redlining, identify explicit and implicit bias, and apply best practices in advertising and client interactions.
