Learning Objectives:

Module One - global real estate in the U.S.:
• Understand why The U.S. is one of the most favorable countries to own real estate
• Understand where the business is coming from inside and outside of the United States
• Recognize the pattern of activities in purchases over the years
• What does professionalism mean to them
• How to identify the cultural difference by regions and countries
• Understand why people buy outside of the United States

Module 2- Implementing Professionalism:
• Understand how different cultures understand negotiations and contracts
• Recognize and identify the different cultures and adjust your pace according to their needs and wants
• How to reach out to them through your marketing efforts
• Create your team of professionals who can help you succeed during the transaction process
• Explore different services you could offer

Module 3- Professionalism and your real estate license:
• Identify foreign buyer and seller opportunities
• US Tax implications
• Understand why currency fluctuations can help make decisions to buy or sell
• Making and receiving referrals
• How to get the best out of trade shows

ATTENDANCE POLICY
1. FREC requires that licensees attend 90% of instructional class time. Physical presence is required
2. CE credit will not be awarded to students who miss more than
20 minutes of instructional time. Please allow adequate commute time. No exceptions.
3. All students MUST sign-in and out to receive CE credit.
4. Electronic note-taking is permitted on silent devices, only. Cell phone use is permitted during designated breaks.
