Most agents know very little about tax deeds and investing in tax deed sales. This course we will discuss how a property ends up in a tax deed sale and the priorities of different lien holders and creditors when a property goes to tax deed sale. We will discuss the process of redeeming a tax certificate, how to clear title after a tax deed purchase, quiet titles and the process of bidding for a tax deed property. We’ll also discuss strategies in purchasing tax deed properties and how to avoid tax deed nightmare properties. This is a great class for the agent that wants a general understand of how tax deeds work in Florida.
