This class will prepare REALTORS® to help their client understand the various types of reverse mortgages including refinance and purchase reverse mortgages. As many know, reverse mortgages may carry a negative stigma but it’s important to educate and understand these types of reverse mortgages, especially the safe FHA version (HECM). 

This course covers each type of reverse mortgage and their unique possibilities to benefit your clients. Join us to learn how to separate myths from realities, while networking and having fun! 

At the end of the class,REALTORS® will be able to identify the homes and clients that qualify for these types of mortgages, will know what is allowed when writing a reverse mortgage purchase contract, will understand when to refer clients to finance options, understand marketing to seniors, increase sales, and will be empowered to double commissions while selling a home to a senior for about 50% – 60% down payment and have no required monthly mortgage payments, for life!



ATTENDANCE POLICY
1. CE credit will not be awarded if arrival and check-in are not complete by 1:10 p.m. No exceptions. Please allow adequate commute time. 
2. Check in with ORRA staff and sign morning and afternoon attendance sheets.
3. FREC requires a licensee attend 90% of each of the classroom hours. Physical attendance is required for the duration of class. 
4. Electronic note-taking is permitted on silent devices, only. Cell phone use is permitted during designated breaks.

CANCELLATION/NO-SHOWS
